Pants Yell! - Songs for Siblings (2004)

A very nice twee pop album I happened across earlier. I couldn’t find a lot of information about this group at all but there are a few footprints of what might’ve been a decent online cult following in the early 2000s. The nine tracks on here are deceptively simple, catchy, and sincere with the wistful bittersweetness turned up to eleven. While there’s nothing super groundbreaking going on here, it’s fantastic for what it is and I can’t reccomened it enough.

I actually had a really difficult time finding this album so I decided to just upload it to youtube myself since I could only find the whole thing on soulseek. I’ll link that below along with a video of the phenomenal third track “My Boyfriend Writes Plays” set to some nice footage bees and butterflies hanging out on flowers.
